Apologies for being so quiet in posting the rest of the H&L House of the Year Finalists… I have just moved house myself, from a family home in Kommetjie to a loft in Tamboerskloof, hugely different and not only in kilometers! A good reminder that it’s not the size of your space that makes it feel like home, but your signature of ‘things’. Any guesses as to which is my favourite House of the Year, featured below: Classic Modern, New Vernacular, Open Home, Roof with a View, Out in the Open or Grand Scale?

Full Wedding Stationery
On Monday we gave you a taste of the Wedding Stationery we did last year for Mariam & Graham. Here is the complete stationery: Invitation Card, Map Insert & Envelope; Order of Service and Menu. It was Mariam’s idea to make His & Hers’ enormous Curry Bibs for our feast – how sweet!
We have just come to the end of all our friends’ weddings and before you know it, the love season starts again, such fun!!! If you know anyone looking for printed or online wedding invitations, let us know
Wedding Stationery, Love Birds
In November we designed the full Wedding Stationery for our friends Mariam & Graham. Traditional (navy suits for the Groomsmen), and charmingly creative – we aimed to capture this in the invitation. The ceremony was to be taken place in The Boathouse, where white Mexican-prayer-flag-bunting would be strung up along the rafters. Mariam wanted an icon of the bunting in the design, and what a better way to achieve this by blind debossing. The Letterpress Co. printed it beautifully, with a navy tissue-lined envelope to match to send it on it’s way….

Tip top team of collaboration, and a special mention to Mariam for being the best client ever.

46664 fashion – a unique brand conceived in Africa
Richard Wall (yes, my man) from Shoestring Productions recently teamed up with Graphic Ballroom and Photographer, Antonia Steyn, to shoot the awesome Winter campaign for 46664 fashion – really capturing the core heart and essence of the brand.
“46664 Fashion’s 2012 Winter range pays tribute to Mr Nelson Mandela’s passion for boxing, with men, women and children’s clothing and apparel that delivers nothing short of a knockout fashion punch.…This is the world of 46664fashion.”
Happy World Africa Day everyone – have a kickass and colourful weekend ahead!
